Incline Pushups

It is same as standard push-up but you need a stiff platform to perform it. You can use bench, piece of wood, a bar o metal etc. but ensure the object does not slip off the floor otherwise you may be injured.



  • Put your hands on verge of the platform.
  • Keep your feet far away from the object.
  • Place your arms 900 to your torso.
  • Lower down your chest bending your elbows.
  • Then straight arms to take original position.



For building pectoral muscles inclined push-up is the best one. It works particularly for triceps and biceps and clavicular pectoralis major.
